The Smoke is an international festival of chamber larp, blackbox and freeform. Its seventh run will be on the weekend of 3rd-5th of January 2025. I will be running Grand Café Budapest, a chamber larp about the literary cafés of the early 1900s of Budapest.

Event descripition In Grand Café Budapest, players step into the shoes of artists, intellectuals, and societal figures navigating the tumultuous historical periods of Hungary from 1908 to 1924. The game is immersive, blending rich historical context with deep character exploration. Players will experience the vibrant coffee house culture of early 20th-century Budapest, where ideas, art, and politics collide over steaming cups of coffee.
